The Mughal emperors ruled India for around 300 years, in which the Hyderabad Mughal period is considered as one of the classic Mughal periods in the history of India. Many Mughal emperors came and ruled the territories of India and made their empire, they established their own legislation, currency and community of people. The rule of succession followed to decide the next emperor of the state, which led to fierce battle among the princes when a ruler died.
The Mughal rule established the Islam league and gave a great contribution towards its expansion. Which lead to the spread of Arabian culture in the world, the expansion of Arabian culture is a gift of some great leaders. These leaders captured empire outside the geographical boundary. And the spread of Arab was then begun in seventh century during the life of Prophet Mohammad and continued after his death, there is no simple explanation of the spread of Arab. In order to understand it better, here we have collected some of the references of history that shows how Islam helped to spread Arabic culture.

1. Art and architecture-

Art and architecture are important factors in the spread of Arabic culture. The importance of visuals art has played a vital role in the history of Islam. As art plays are essential to study and understand the history of any period, art depicts the life of people in those days, how they lived and what they do. All the books and references are also a part of art culture, the written verses narrate the life and lessons from the Islamic culture. Through art we understand that Islam originated and developed in an Arab culture. Moreover, art historians credit the Arabic architect with many great innovations especially with the use of domes and mosques.’

2. Religion-

Religion alternative is one the simple reason for the spread of Arab culture, the religious norms followed by the Arab culture is way too similar with the Islamic culture. We can say Islam has made Arab culture more vibrant. However, it is important to understand, Arabs are those of speak Arabic language and not all Arabs necessarily follower practice Islam. Many Rabs are not Muslim and vice versa. But they both resemble since the Quran and Hadiths are written in Arabic Language and Muslims are the follower and worshipers of Quran. With this we understand that, Arab culture is a result of Islam itself which is contributed to its expansion.

The education marks the emergence of Islam to Arab as the books, references and scripts are studied in Arabic language itself. Throughout the Islamic history, education was the element in which the Islams have always excelled, they were poets and storytellers who wrote thousands of books in Arabic language. They built large libraries and learning centers for the same. The Muslim enthusiast in learning and reading gave birth to extensive Arab culture and emerged the learnings in several different Arabian regions. The students in Madrasas learned to write in Arabic and received instruction in Islam theology. The Islamic mathematicians has given a great contribution to the fundamental development of theories and concepts. Hence, Islamic scholars contributes in the emergence of Arab writing and reading as a whole.

Islamic finance has emerged as a successful tool for financing worldwide. The major impact of Islamic finance was on Arabian countries, it has contributed to its development. As major financial markets are tapping the potential of Arab markets and discovers solid evidence of, how they have been mainstreamed within the global financial market. It has the potential to end the rising poverty crisis and boost share prosperity. Thus, Islamic trade and financing of funds has uplifted the growth of Arabian market, as the most prosperous nations of the world are Arabian itself. Hence, the beginning of trade culture marks the establishment of Arabian countries as full potential markets for finance and investment.

As we discussed, Islam helped the Arab culture to rise, yet many people confuse the two as similar. We need to understand that both Islam and Arab are similar to an extent but are completely different from each other. As Islam is the part of Arab culture and not the whole culture itself, an Arab is not necessarily Islam and a Muslim is not necessarily Arab. The people speaking and practicing the Arab culture are known as Arabs, who are distinctive to Islamic people. However, we must note that, the emergence of Arabian culture is the gift of Islam. As the art and architectures that they perceive are originated from Islam, the museums and mosques are built from the references of Islam, the indigenous education and the standard verses, scripts and poems ae written in Arabian language itself, which are learned and perceived by Islamic people. The famous verses of the holy book Quran are typically in Arabian language. Moreover, the contribution of famous Islamic scholars is applauded for giving world class theories and concepts of mathematics and literature. We remember them well for their great efforts towards advanced education, especially literature, as the greatest of the poets are recognized from Islam only. Finally, the tremendous growth of Arabian countries in the world market is due to Islamic finance, which has generated a strong principle of accounting and financing. Thus, the expansion of Arabian culture is the contribution of Islam.


The establishment of Arab culture was marked in the seventh century, when the Arabs the people originally belonging from Arabian desert were converted to Islam. The beginning of Arab culture started in southern Syria and northern Arabian Peninsula, after which they started to emerge crossing the geographical boundaries and flagged their religion in different domestic boundaries. To mention the contribution of Islam to their development, it is remarkable. Even today we find evidences of people following and leading their lives on same ethics which they acquired from Islam. The well-known Arabian nations of today stand on the foundation of Islam and has a great respect for it.
